The Website is owned and operated by International Wellness Publishing Inc., operating as Live Disease Free (“Live Disease Free,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a company based in British Columbia, Canada.
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.
Certain programs, coaching services, products or other offerings may be governed by separate agreements presented to you before purchase, enrolment or participation. Those separate agreements apply in addition to these Terms as described below.
- ABOUT LIVE DISEASE FREE
Live Disease Free provides health education, health coaching, educational programs, courses, research-based information, videos, articles, interviews, resources and other information relating to health, nutrition, lifestyle and the Live Disease Free approach.
Our educational content may reference published medical and scientific research, including research discussing medications, supplements, laboratory testing and other health-related subjects. Any such references are for educational and informational purposes only and do not constitute a prescription, medical recommendation or individualized treatment advice.
Pam Bartha is a health educator and health coach. She is not a physician or licensed health-care practitioner.
Live Disease Free does not practise medicine or any other regulated health profession and does not provide medical diagnosis or medical treatment. - EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES
The information provided through Live Disease Free is intended for educational and informational purposes.
This includes information provided through the Website, articles, videos, live events, emails, social media, downloadable resources, interviews, courses, programs, coaching, question-and-answer sessions, digital tools and other communications.
Our educational content may discuss health conditions, symptoms, nutrition, lifestyle, published medical and scientific research, personal experiences, chronic infections, parasites, fungi, bacteria, laboratory testing, medications, supplements, therapies and other health-related subjects.
The fact that a health condition, treatment, medication, supplement, test, therapy or other health-related subject is discussed does not mean that Live Disease Free is diagnosing you, prescribing for you or providing individualized medical treatment.
Information provided by Live Disease Free is not a substitute for individualized advice, diagnosis or treatment from an appropriately qualified health-care professional. - HEALTH COACHING IS NOT MEDICAL CARE
Health coaching and health education are different from medical care.
Live Disease Free may educate individuals about health-related topics, research, lifestyle strategies, nutrition and approaches that individuals may wish to discuss with their own health-care professionals.
Pam Bartha and other Live Disease Free coaches or educators do not diagnose disease, prescribe medications, practise medicine or replace your physician or other qualified health-care professional.
Live Disease Free coaches do not monitor your health and are not able to respond to medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek appropriate emergency medical assistance immediately.
Nothing contained on this Website should be interpreted as establishing a physician-patient, practitioner-patient or other regulated health-care professional relationship.
Simply using this Website or communicating with Live Disease Free also does not create a health-coaching relationship. Any paid coaching relationship is governed by the specific agreements applicable to that service or program. - YOUR HEALTH-CARE DECISIONS
You are responsible for your own health and health-care decisions.
You should consult an appropriately qualified health-care professional regarding medical conditions, diagnoses, medications, laboratory testing, treatment decisions, new or worsening symptoms and other matters requiring professional medical assessment.
Do not stop, start or change a prescription medication or prescribed medical treatment solely because of something you read, watch or hear through Live Disease Free without discussing that decision with an appropriately qualified health-care professional.
You are responsible for evaluating information and determining, together with your health-care professionals where appropriate, whether any information or approach is suitable for your individual circumstances. - MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
Live Disease Free does not provide emergency medical services.
If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek appropriate emergency medical assistance immediately.
Do not use the Website, email, social media, coaching services, digital tools or other Live Disease Free communications as a substitute for emergency medical care. - RESEARCH AND HEALTH INFORMATION
Live Disease Free may discuss, summarize or interpret scientific and medical research for educational purposes.
Scientific understanding changes over time. Research studies may have limitations, may produce conflicting findings and may later be updated, challenged or superseded by newer evidence.
Although we make reasonable efforts to accurately represent the information and research we discuss, we do not guarantee that every piece of information on the Website is complete, current or applicable to every individual.
References to published research are not intended to create individualized medical recommendations.
You are encouraged to review original research where appropriate and discuss health-related questions with qualified professionals. - PERSONAL EXPERIENCES, CASE HISTORIES AND TESTIMONIALS
The Website may contain testimonials, interviews, case histories, personal experiences and stories from Pam Bartha, Live Disease Free students, clients or other individuals.
These accounts describe the experiences of particular individuals.
Individual results vary, and an individual’s experience does not guarantee that another person will achieve the same or similar results.
References to recovery, improvements in symptoms, changes in health, changes in mobility or other outcomes describe the experiences being reported. They should not be interpreted as a promise, warranty or guarantee of a particular result for you.
Where we use an individual’s testimonial, photograph, video, voice recording or other identifiable material for promotional or public purposes, any permissions required for that use may be addressed through a separate consent or release. - NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS
Live Disease Free does not guarantee any particular health, financial, personal or other outcome from using the Website, educational information, programs, coaching or other services.
Health outcomes depend on many individual factors that are outside our control.
You acknowledge that no health program, educational resource, lifestyle approach or coaching service can guarantee results for every person. - SEPARATE PROGRAM, SALES AND PARTICIPATION AGREEMENTS
Certain Live Disease Free programs, coaching services, courses or other offerings may be subject to separate sales agreements, participation agreements, enrolment terms or other contractual terms.
Live Disease Free coaching programs and educational offerings are currently offered through separate registration processes and are not sold directly through this Website.
Those agreements are provided in connection with the applicable purchase, enrolment or service and govern matters specific to that offering, which may include pricing, payment terms, refunds, cancellations, program participation, access and other obligations.
If there is a conflict between these Website Terms and a separate written agreement entered into between you and International Wellness Publishing Inc., the separate written agreement will govern with respect to the subject matter covered by that agreement.
Nothing in these Website Terms changes or replaces the terms of an existing separate written agreement unless expressly stated in writing. - THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS
The Website may contain information about or links to products and services that are offered and sold by third-party companies.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, International Wellness Publishing Inc. does not manufacture, maintain inventory of, sell, process payment for, ship or fulfil these third-party products.
When you purchase a third-party product through a link on our Website, you are purchasing directly from the applicable third-party seller.

You may not use the Live Disease Free branding, logos, or other proprietary marks in a manner that falsely suggests sponsorship, affiliation, certification, approval or endorsement, or for commercial purposes, without prior written permission.

Please do not submit sensitive personal health information, medical records, laboratory results, medication lists or other confidential health information through general Website contact forms, comments or ordinary email unless Live Disease Free has specifically requested that information and provided an appropriate method for submitting it.
General Website forms and ordinary email are not secure channels for transmitting sensitive health information.
If you voluntarily provide health information through a general communication channel, you acknowledge that such communications may not have the same security protections as a dedicated secure system.
You represent that you have the right to provide any content you submit and that it does not violate another person’s intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights or applicable law.
Providing information to Live Disease Free through a contact form, email, comment or other communication does not automatically grant Live Disease Free permission to use your name, photograph, health story, testimonial or other identifiable personal information for advertising or promotional purposes.
Where we wish to publicly use identifiable testimonials, photographs, recordings, health stories or similar material for promotional purposes, we may request separate permission or consent.
We may remove, decline to publish or restrict access to content that is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, infringing, abusive, fraudulent, misleading, spam or otherwise inappropriate for the Website. - PRIVACY

Separate products, paid programs and coaching services may be subject to different liability provisions contained in the agreements specifically governing those offerings. - INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless International Wellness Publishing Inc. and its directors, officers, employees and contractors from third-party claims, liabilities, losses or reasonable costs arising directly from:

- content you submit that infringes another person’s rights;
- your unauthorized commercial use or reproduction of our intellectual property; or
- your material violation of these Terms.
This section does not require you to indemnify Live Disease Free for matters for which an indemnity would be prohibited by applicable law.
- CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit, waive or exclude rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer-protection legislation.
Where British Columbia consumer-protection legislation or other applicable law provides rights that cannot legally be waived or limited by contract, those rights continue to apply regardless of anything stated in these Terms.
Purchases or enrolments governed by separate agreements may also carry statutory rights in addition to the contractual rights stated in those agreements. - INTERNATIONAL USERS
Live Disease Free is operated from British Columbia, Canada, and its Website may be accessed by users in other provinces, territories and countries.
Health, advertising, consumer, privacy and other laws differ between jurisdictions.
We do not represent that every aspect of the Website or every resource discussed is appropriate, permitted or available in every jurisdiction.
If you access the Website from outside British Columbia, you are responsible for understanding laws that may apply to you.
Nothing in this section eliminates any mandatory rights that applicable law gives you. - AGE AND CAPACITY
The Website, educational content, programs, coaching services, email communications and other Live Disease Free services are intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
By using the Website, subscribing to our communications, submitting information through the Website, creating an account, enrolling in a program or otherwise using our services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information from our records, subject to any legal obligations requiring us to retain it.
If you believe that a person under 18 has provided personal information to Live Disease Free, please contact us at info@livediseasefree.com so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete the information. - CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to the Website, our practices or applicable law.
The current version and its “Last Updated” date will be posted on the Website.
Where appropriate or legally required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
Changes to these Website Terms do not retroactively modify a separate sales, participation or other written agreement you have already entered into with International Wellness Publishing Inc., except where that agreement and applicable law permit such a change. - GOVERNING LAW
Subject to any mandatory legal rights that may apply to you, these Terms and your use of the Website are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in British Columbia.
Any court proceeding relating to these Website Terms will be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in British Columbia, subject to any right under applicable law that permits otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to waive rights to participate in a class proceeding or requires mandatory arbitration, mediation or other private dispute-resolution process.
The parties remain free to mutually agree to mediation or another form of dispute resolution after a dispute arises. - SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined by a court or other competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary where permitted by law.
The remaining provisions will continue in effect. - NO WAIVER
If International Wellness Publishing Inc. does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we have waived our right to enforce that provision in the future.
A waiver is effective only to the extent expressly given. - ASSIGNMENT
You may not transfer or assign rights or obligations arising under these Terms without our prior written consent where our consent is legally permitted to be required.
International Wellness Publishing Inc. may transfer its rights and obligations in connection with a legitimate corporate restructuring, merger, acquisition, sale or transfer of substantially all of the relevant business, subject to applicable law and any rights you may have under that law. - ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement governing general use of the Website.
Separate written sales agreements, participation agreements, enrolment agreements or other agreements govern the particular products or services to which they apply.
