Is it possible to stop the progression of multiple sclerosis? Absolutely! But to do so requires a different approach, one that treats the parasites that cause MS.

This post shares the steps the Wellness Champions and Pam Bartha have followed to not only stop the progression of multiple sclerosis but also recover from MS and live their best lives.

The MS Society

The MS Society is a global nonprofit organization that offers support and resources to people diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and funds research for possible new treatments for multiple sclerosis. They advocate for the standard medical of care model for managing and treating MS.

Their websites state, “The National Multiple Sclerosis Society exists because there are people with MS. Our vision is a world free of MS. Everything we do is focused so that people affected by MS can live their best lives as we stop MS in its tracks, restore what has been lost and end MS forever. We are more than an organization.”

“We fund world-leading research, share the latest information and campaign for everyone’s rights. Together we are a community and together we can stop MS.”

The MS Society’s plan to stop MS:

1. Prevent the immune system from attacking nerve tissue (myelin) by promoting the use of:

  • the 12 approved disease modifying therapies (DMTs) recommended for relapsing MS
  • stem cell transplantation (HSCT) which aims to stop the immune system from attacking myelin
  • ocrelizumab (Ocrevus) an infusion that is thought to slow the progression in primary progressive MS
  • siponimod (Mayzent) which is an oral treatment for people with active secondary progressive MS.

2. Promote myelin repair

A clinical trial is taking place to test whether the combination of the drugs metformin (a drug that lowers blood sugar) and clemastine (an antihistamine used for hay fever) can help the brain regenerate myelin in people with MS.

3. Protect nerves from damage

A clinical trial is underway to determine if the drug simvastatin (a drug used to lower cholesterol) can slow the progression of secondary progressive MS.

Simvastatin is commonly used to treat high cholesterol, but research suggests that it reduces inflammation and might protect nerves from damage. This drug blocks the proteins and immune cells that are released as part of the body’s normal inflammation process.

The Multiple Sclerosis Society strongly advocates for the use of disease modifying maintenance pharmaceuticals that suppress the immune system in the treatment of multiple sclerosis. Suppressing the immune system has been the primary focus of treatment for MS for decades, even though these drugs are not effective.

MS is an infectious disease caused by parasites

There is a large and ever-growing body of research and evidence that MS is an infectious disease caused by a parasitic infestation. On the Live Disease Free website and in Pam Bartha’s master class training, we have shared the link between MS and fungus, Lyme disease, parasitic worms and other infections.

Our healthcare professionals in developed countries have lost the skill to identify symptoms of parasites and treat them effectively.

Parasites are present in all countries. They are present in our animals, on our food, and the soil and water. We are exposed to parasites on a regular basis.

Inflammation is present in every chronic disease, including multiple sclerosis. It occurs when the immune system is fighting something. The primary job of our immune system is to protect us from disease-causing parasites. Our standard of care assumes that our immune system is mistakenly attacking nerve tissue. Dr. Alan MacDonald has found Borrelia (the bacteria that causes Lyme disease) in the myelin sheath of nerve cells in Alzheimer’s patients. He also discovered small round worms in the spinal fluid of every MS subject tested as well as developing tapeworm larval cysts and juvenile tape worms in the spinal fluid of MS patients.

Yet the international panel of experts who decide how MS is diagnosed and treated are not interested in exploring this research. Why? They are stuck in their belief that the immune system is the problem. They also believe that parasites are only a problem in underdeveloped countries and in those patients who have travelled to such countries.

Most parasite drugs have lost their patent and are quite cheap and safe. Pharmaceutical companies have no financial incentive to determine which parasites are causing MS. The MS drugs, on the other hand, are very expensive and lucrative. The pharmaceutical companies that manufacture and sell the disease-modifying drugs influence how our doctors are trained as well as the established standard of care for treating MS.

It is high time for a new approach. We desperately need a paradigm shift away from the belief that the immune system is attacking nerve cells for some mysterious reason. This way of thinking only encourages the development of more expensive and ineffective immune suppressive drugs where people lose their quality of life and die prematurely.

Live Disease Free

When the parasites that cause disease are treated effectively, MS no longer worsens and recovery is possible. This approach does not require hundreds of thousands of dollars for testing and treatments and does not take years for one to improve or recover. The Live Disease Free plan is a proven plan that will teach you how to take charge of your health so you can take back your health and your life in the most cost-effective way.

The Live Disease Free Plan

Before parasites are treated, it is important to follow the prep phase of the Live Disease Free plan to decrease inflammation, promote immune modulation and greatly improve tolerance to the parasite treatments and the speed of recovery. Preparing to treat includes Step 1 and 2.

Step 1. Follow the Live Disease Free diet

This diet provides lots of nutrition for the body, but greatly reduces food to the parasites. Most parasites thrive on carbohydrates, so by decreasing carbs enough, parasites are less active and produce less toxins, which results in less inflammation and significant symptom improvement. If a person suffers from inflammatory bowel disease, it is important to avoid raw vegetables and those they don’t tolerate until their G.I. tract heals. Visit the Live Disease Free Diet Guidelines to learn more.

Step 2. Support the Body

Daily bowel movements, optimal sleep, supporting physiology and removing toxins from the environment must all be addressed before one starts treating so that the treatments will be better tolerated and will work more effectively.

Following steps 1 and 2 of the Live Disease Free plan results in improved bladder function, sleep, energy, mental clarity and mood and less pain, stiffness and muscle spasms.

Step 3. Treat the parasites and rebuild the health-promoting microbes.

The treatment plan is determined through a person’s health history, disease diagnoses, symptoms, and by energy testing common treatments to determine which therapies will be most effective for the parasites that are infecting a person. The most successful treatment plan includes a layering of therapies: parasite medications, antimicrobial herbs and oxygen therapies. As parasites are treated, it is also vital to rebuild our natural defense: the health promoting microbes.

When parasites are treated effectively:

  • Mood improves – people feel happy and peaceful again
  • Mental clarity and memory come back
  • Stiffness and spasticity subside
  • Balance returns
  • Drop foot resolves
  • Tremors diminish
  • Pain ends
  • Writing, vision and speech improve
  • Strength returns in legs and arms
  • Mobility improves – Canes, walkers, wheelchairs or scooters may no longer be needed.

The sooner parasites are treated, the easier they are to treat and the quicker the recovery will be.

Step 4. Maintain health and prevention.

It is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle, which includes being active, optimizing nutrition, managing stress, nurturing our soul, getting sunshine and staying hydrated. When health is restored, it is wise to treat parasites once or twice per year to prevent disease in the future.

The Live Disease Free plan has allowed me to live an active life, free from disease for over 30 years and is allowing many Wellness Champions to recover from disease and get their health and life back.

To live a long, healthy and happy life, we must take responsibility for our health and learn these simple, safe and effective principles. We can’t afford to leave our health solely in the hands of any one expert. Our health is our greatest asset.

There are real solutions to recover from parasites today!

To restore health, we must focus on treating the cause of inflammation, which are parasites. First, identify the enemy (parasites), then support the body and treat the parasites while following a holistic approach. When parasitic infections are treated effectively, we can overcome inflammation or disease.
